What you provide

Resume and cover-letter details can include your name, email, phone number, location, education, experience, skills and letter content. Consultation bookings include your contact details, WhatsApp number, goals, appointment and chosen call or chat format. Only include information needed for your application or consultation.

Drafts in your browser

Drafts and currency preferences are saved in this browser without an account. Checkout temporarily keeps a copy of the submitted document in browser session storage. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see saved drafts and purchases. Clearing browser data can remove drafts and purchase access.

Purchases and bookings

When you continue to payment, CareerCraft stores an encrypted copy of your submitted document or booking on the local server so it can fulfil the order and recover purchased documents. Order records also contain the service, price, payment reference and verification details. Receipt records can include your email, payment time and payment channel. Booking records track availability, cancellations and refund records.

We use this information to deliver your purchase, manage appointments, resolve payment issues and prevent unauthorized access. Current draft generation uses prepared letter samples; your documents are not sent to an external AI service.

Payments and external services

Paystack handles payment details on its own checkout. CareerCraft does not collect your card, bank, OPay or Zap credentials. Opening WhatsApp to contact us or attend a consultation shares the information you send with WhatsApp and CareerCraft.

To estimate local prices, CareerCraft uses a country code from the hosting service when available, or asks GeoJS for an IP-based country lookup. GeoJS receives your network IP address for that request. We do not request GPS access. Exchange rates come from ExchangeRate-API. These providers operate under their own privacy notices and may process information outside your country.

Cookies and storage

An essential guest cookie allows this browser to reopen new purchases for up to 30 days. Separate essential cookies protect the private owner dashboard. This version has no advertising or marketing analytics integration. No customer account is required.

Retention and security

The 30-day purchase access period does not automatically delete server records. The current local test version retains order and booking records until manually removed; automated retention and production hosting arrangements have not yet been established. Contact support to request deletion. Some records may need to be retained to resolve a dispute or meet applicable obligations.

Purchased document data is encrypted at rest and owner access is password protected. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

Contact support to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may ask for enough information to verify that the records belong to you. Applicable privacy rights remain available. In Nigeria, you can also contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission; elsewhere, contact your local privacy regulator.
